A few tips to bear in mind for those that want to sell well through Best Kept Secret: - Clothing sizes ranging from slender to super curvy
- Clothing must be no more than two years old unless they are timeless pieces that never go out of fashion. Either designer or upmarket high street labels
- Ideally all items must be appropriate for the current season… thick over coats don’t sell well in summer
- We only want to sell garments and accessories that you would be happy to buy yourself, so please ensure that they are in a “good as new” condition by being freshly laundered and pressed or dry-cleaned. Buttons and zips must be intact and collars, cuffs and linings must be checked for wear and tear. |

No to … any counterfeit items or fakes
No to … Items that are smelly, soiled and unclean, have holes, stains, and damages as those items will be returned.

Dropping Off Items
We will accept items during our opening hours or by appointment. Optional drop off form can be filled out by downloading it on the website or picking one up from the shop, by using the form you will quicken up the drop off process. Items need to be hung on hangers where appropriate
Pricing
Best Kept Secret prides itself on the high quality of our garments and accessories but with realistic and fair pricing. We will take into account many factors such as condition, desirability, designer and style and then price at our discretion unless otherwise agreed.
Selling Process
Clothes are kept for 12 weeks after 4 weeks if items have not sold then they will be put into a sale from 10% to 25% off for the last 8 weeks. Any unsold items need to be collected no longer than one week after the 12th selling week. Any items not collected after this time will be disposed of at our discretion.
Payment
Of the final selling price the seller receives 50% and Best Kept Secret Dress Agency shall retain 50% of monies from the sale. Payment is made in cash anytime from 2 weeks after the item is sold up to a value of £50 at any one time. Otherwise monies owed above £50 will be paid by cheque.
